CBC: The National (actual)
I posted last week that we were going to be on the CBC National news. We got bumped from the program that evening and we were not sure if we were going to be on it at all. It was kind of embarrassing because we told a bunch of people that we were going to be on - then we weren’t. Oh well!
I got some emails this morning saying that people saw us on the CBC news last night. We looked online and we found our cute little story on cbc.ca. It is really cool that we got to be on TV throughout Canada. If you saw it let us know, if not I have posted the video here (still working on it - I have a link to CBC site).
It is really encouraging to hear the stories of people who have been inspired by what we did and now are trying to make small changes in their own lives. I guess that was part of the purpose behind why did, what we did this past year. The encourage others to reconsider how their consumption affects their lives and the lives of the people around them.

OUCH!!! Sorry about that you guys. What with people being off on holidays (and me being in DC) we didn’t even know when you’d be on. My apologies and I hope all your family and friends were able to view it online.
Merry Christmas to you and yours. It was a pleasure doing your story!

Thomas!
It’s Cali and her new hubby Quinn. We’re in AZ for the holidays and had dinner with your parents last night. They showed us the website and we watched all the videos. How incredible!
We want you, Malora, and Noah to know that you’ve inspired us to live the Comapct Life - USA in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for 2009.
My husband is a business teacher at the Milton Hershey School (www.mhs-pa.org)and he loves anything budget-like so this will be an exciting challenge for the New Year. It will be an awesome example to his students.
We’ll be in touch because I’m sure we’ll need some tips!

Great interview - you’ve highlighted a lifestyle that many Mennonites already live - ie. mom and dad Froese!
Great to see your project get some good publicity. It was neat seeing ‘mammy ‘n pappy’s’ farm highlighted too!
